Ruth and Ian are now approaching the time when retirement beckons - well semi-retirement at least.   They have therefore decided to reduce their stake in Infiniti and let a few others enjoy Infiniti as much as they have and, health permitting, will continue to do.   Ian and Brenda on the other hand have made Fuerteventura their home - no more dull, cold weather for them.

 

Some of the apartments and villas are therefore available for sale.   We are not, however, putting them in the hands of local Estate Agents for several reasons.   Much of the property on Fuerteventura is oversold and promises are made just to get a sale.   All too often these promises are not met, the complex becomes run down, disappointed owners have to sell cheaply - usually to those not prepared to put in the money to bring it back to a standard and so the downward spiral continues.   Maintaining a complex is not difficult or expensive but resurrecting it when it has become run down is difficult and can be heart-breaking, especially when other owners do not care.

 

We have found it almost impossible to get Estate Agents to understand investment for the long term rather than just for a quick profit (sometimes only for them).   We have a beautiful complex and we intend to keep it that way.   Many of our regulars will know what we mean.   Nearby complexes are just a pale shadow of what they were a few years ago.   We believe Infiniti is better than when we first opened in 2003.
